-Like the other. Standard 1992 (black).
UTILIZATION
- A jewel, but must love ... super easy to play ...
SOUNDS
-I bought it because I had no money for a Les Paul ... But it must be very very well with my style of play, although I expect soon to acquire a std LP sleeve 60 '(j 'y'm too used to the handle end !!!). But not for anything other than the childhood dream ...
Marshall vs8080, Cry-baby ,...( 5150 .... and now Peavey Classic 30).
-Heavy, heavy sound. May be too heavy, but it also comes from the amp ... I plan to buy a V-twin as a pre-amp and like it ... HP emulator vera after the Paul ... (It is controlled in a species of hunter used computer, it will be a post honeyburst 2002.), But here I digress! ... The childhood dream ...
-SG is great for walks in the arpeggios as for screaming solos. (Stairway to heaven without problems, however STH. It was a double neck SG EDS1275 live ... at least!), It is also good for killing and IWHM for velvet blues ... of course if you like simple bobi microphones. or-floyd roses! me perso .... I have chosen my camp.
OVERALL OPINION
-I got it secondhand in ninety-four (94) to € 550. Before, I had an Aria Pro II-the cat. which has since remained in its case!.
-The handle of the SG is by far his strong point, but its light weight and humbuckers that sound good fats should not be forgotten (although some prefer to change to a more modern, more accurate ... must see ! I am willing to exchange a pair of PAF against the original EMG ...!). It appears that his weak point is its lack of sustain, compared to a Les Paul ... of course! Otherwise weaknesses I see no ... Even the color of the case, we ended up getting used to ...
-Recently I had an Ibanez in the hands ... I was lost ... I could not find even the octave !!!.. For me the CS has become a habit, almost a drug ... I Gibson!
I have never tried the SG copies, there are yet many in the stores, after I'd go see comments from owners of other copies Epiphone ...
-For me it was an exellent deal, even though at the time I do not realize ... it's worth several times its purchase price, although I find that the price in stores, for a guitar as basic that the initial investment has already been depreciated several times, is a bit high.
