Fanzineur Hello!
RODE NT3
transistor condenser microphone
OVERALL OPINION

I used the microphone for two days to record my guitar amp which is a Vox AD60VT.
Obviously I did not push the amplifier volume too high to avoid damaging the microphone when placed in the close mic position at the speaker.

Rsultat bleuffant, the standard hot round in the bass!
I usually record my amp with condenser microphones like the SAMSON CO1 CO2, or whatever condenser mic fits the situation. You have to spend time positioning and EQing the mics to get the right tone and they do produce a decent result. With the NT3 I was able to get a great tone in minimal time.
