Topic Need help with my home studio set up.
Hello.

I need some help in fixing up more home studio for proper recording and mixing of music.

Equipment:
Mini Korg Synth (instrument)
Korg Electribe SX (instrument)
Behringer Eurorack UB802 (mixer)
Soun Blaster Audigy2 zs Platinum (soundcard)

The way I have it set us is I have "X" cord running from Tape out of the mixer in to Aux in 2 of my sound card. (To connect mixer to computer). Then a "y" cord with a 1/4 stereo plug into the headphone input on my sound card. (To hear playback on the headphones from the mixer). The program that im using to record is ACID Music Studio 5.0 the thing is that when i record another track it records the playback of the track i record before. So im getting feed back of another track into the new track that im recording. Is there something wrong with the program? should i use another program? or is it a problem with my set up.

Turn off "What You Hear". Use either the line inputs or aux input in your case.
