It's a relatively classic Stratocaster design, but its particular feature that makes it a very good guitar is its neck.

UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

This is a Mexican made Stratocaster from Fender with the following specs:

- Alder body

- Maple neck (gloss finished)

- Maple fretboard

- Twenty one vintage style frets

- Three vintage style single coil pickups

- Controls: Volume, Neck Tone, Middle Tone and five way pickup selector

- Vintage style tremolo arm

UTILIZATION

I find this guitar quite nice to play although it's not amazing for my taste. I find the neck slightly too thick for my liking, it works great for open chords but my hand aches from playing barre chords after a while. The gloss finnish on the neck was surprisingly not sticky to play which I have found to be a problem on some other guitars but it's been well played before I ever laid my hands on it so that may be why.

I'm not a huge fan of Stratocaster wiring as lack of bridge tone control seems stupid to me but regardless its easy to get a good range of quality sounds out of this guitar.

SOUNDS

This guitar does sound really good, in most positions. The tone of the neck pick up when using a fuzz pedal is great. The combination of Marshall JCM900 Mkiii, Big Muff and this guitar make an amazing thick tone close to that of Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins.

One thing I dislike about this guitar is the lack of tone control for the bridge pickup as sometimes it can be quite harsh in the bridge position.

OVERALL OPINION

I really like the sound of this guitar but the neck is too thick for my liking so it wouldn't be a guitar that I would buy myself. I really love the finishes that this guitar come in, but the aged white knobs on it make it look cheap to me.

I'd recommend giving it a go if you like the look of it as I know lots of people will like the feel of this guitar.

UTILIZATION

very simple, easy to play, good level of finish.

SOUNDS

It is clearly oriented 50 s texas .... if you know what I mean ... sound south. Ideal example to play "if love is a red dress" ... with my old amp lamp ... too good.

Slight imbalance (wanted) for the re cords and ground (studs nearest microphone).

OVERALL OPINION

Magnificent.

I bought it as new 300 euros ... I still buy if you have any.

In any case, a safe bet ... in 40 years it is 3000 (just kidding) and an instrument of high quality.

UTILIZATION

The neck feels really nice, the frets are not too small nor too big. It's not a Vigier Excalibur neck but it's still very slim.
Its lightness is normal for a Strat. The guitar is comfortable to play sitting or standing. Access to the upper frets is ok, except with the higher, fatter strings.

SOUNDS

This guitar fits my music style perfectly. Red Hot Chili Peppers is not a problem, nor Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones or Shadows, this guitar was made to rock! Don't expect to get a real high-gain tone even if the results with distortion are good.
I play with a Vox AC 30 so I get excellent clean and crunch tones. I like all pickup combinations (neck for Red Hot Chili Peppers, bridge for Shadows and middle position for all other styles) but I find the middle pickup has not enough character. I will replace the pickups with Fender 57/62 to get a real early-Stratocaster sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been playing the Classic 50 for one year and I can't seem to get bored.
The value for money is good and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
