Published on 04/18/03 at 15:00I got this guitar second-hand for £400 but i suspect it was from a women who bought guitars at trade price and sold them on for some profit as she seemed to have practically a shop in her house. Anyway im not complaining as the standard price is £600.
Its a real nice guitar to play, thin neck making movement pretty damn easy and the guitar is real light and comfortable. The sound is great, with these pick-ups i can play blues to some metal.
I havn't found anything wrong or anything that ive disliked as the build quality is pretty damn good. The only thing i dom't like really is the locking system for the strings. It doesn't really bother me a great deal and its pretty necersary if you want to use the tremolo and stay in tune so you can abuse it as much as you like. This is definitely not a guitar for de-tuning.
Build quality is great havn't found anything bad about it yet. Everything is pretty tight and sturdy, for £600 odd thats what you would expect.
This is a great guitar plays really nicely. Make sure you ask questions before you buy it about the locking systems and how to re-string or else you'll probably end up ruining the tremolo system or other damage. If you wanna get a different gauge of strings i was told to ask professional advice. Great guitar and i advise you to get it, unless you can afford something better like a JS100+ or a ..............PRS Singlecut...........
