Plus, since my band occasionally uses alternate tunings, I needed a 3rd axe to switch to quickly live. This guitar became my main axe for standard tuning. I gladly paid $670 at a Guitar Center for this slick machine!
I really liked the size, weight, and overall playability. It was a first for me with a Floyd Rose...and I had to adjust a little in setup..but it's accurate and repeatable. It has a great overall universal tone but I absolutely love the 2 humbucker configuration with the split tone control! You can go from a straight forward bridge pickup grind to a rich, full neck pickup tone....all with good sustain. Great overall tone response....and it doesn't hurt that the transparent red paint is absolutely gorgeous!
There's not much not to like...but I couldn't quite adjust the action low enough for my liking. However, the neck is unique and it depends on what you do.
Accurate and clean. No worries or hastles.
I would recommend this guitar to those who want a comfortable, playable, good sounding guitar and want to spend under $700.
