UTILIZATION

UTILIZATION

Squier Affinity Fat Start HSS series.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, relatively thin and therefore very fast. It is of form "C".
Key glides well, though in a few years it starts to be a little less pleasant, but it's still very correct.
Access to acute I find it perfect, it sure is not an Ibanez, but I have no complaints on that side, except perhaps when we look for the 19-20 ° boxes in the rope low E, but it's not every day you did it ^ ^.

At the sound, we already feel much more than this guitar is not worth a fortune. Already, we regret the absence of a band 22 °, yet often used, this feature is specific to the Affinity series. To obtain the desired sound, I confess I wade a lot on my amp, but looking good is what we seek, but that side is not the best I've experienced.
In his clear, it sounds good on the single coil, after the humbucker I want to say it's a matter of taste. Small flat in concert quite disturbing, the clear sound is much higher than the humbucker on the single coil, so when we move from a clean to a distorted sound, the difference is huge.
In the saturated output level is basically the same on all 3 pickups, but there is a horrible buzzing on singles, so that I always use the humbucker. Unfortunate first point: the sounds are not suitable to my particular style of music. However, when I bought it I was beginning the biggest or most of the world, I was looking for a cheap guitar and I had not chosen style. Now that my world is surrounded by Metallica, Coheed & Cambria, and others Bullet For My Valentine, I must admit it's not the guitar for me.
But to play Led Zep ', Pink Floyd, or even Guns', it is very suitable for beginners.
I played on two amps: a Marshall MG15CDR First, a good amp in itself but which also shows its limits. Even more than mine I recovered, and the gain knob is broken with distortion, and of course the gain is fully ... This gives her an unbearable, but it's still Marshall sound anyway! In contrast, clear sound is a little gem, I found wonderful ally in my Squier. I went on a Behringer V-Tone GMX 210, which is not 60 watts as indicated by all sites but 120 Watts. In terms of its clear, I regret a little my Marshall, but the overdrive sound is a marvel. The possible settings are great and we get the final out to ring the Squier. I do not use effects because the V-Tone offers a panel.
In clean sounds, you come to get some variations, but I find the amp side is fairly limited, while the guitar provides a lot of differences, particularly following the microphones. The Sustain is average, but not bad either, but the sound remains clean.

I love the clean sound on the middle pickup, but its too low output level makes it virtually unusable in concert, especially if you play the same piece of saturated passages. Again I put 7 / 10 because the material is quite good without being excellent, and despite its limitations for sounds very saturated, it is fairly versatile.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this guitar for exactly 18 months now, and it is still going strong today.
I love its versatility, its look since I've painted, so that basically I do not particularly like strats, like anything with a little creativity can make anything beautiful ^ ^. Access to acute surprised me for such a guitar and is one of his best points. She would much rather the tuning, although over time it is less obvious, however I have the key to the G string is starting to have a little play, which makes this rope very sensitive when bend it: it goes out of tune pretty quickly. UTILIZATION

Channel hyper enjoyable APRS lemon oil treatment. The key is fresh (rosewood) and the frets well burrs. odfaut.

I am the User for 5 days I find it just great

Squire has a huge product line of cheap and affordable guitars. Most of them range for well under $300. This makes it very affordable for kids or beginners guitars players to buy an electric guitar. These guitars are not going to be of the quality or workmanship of an American made fender Stratocaster but they will do the job for someone exploring their skills.

You can feel that the build is kind of slapped together. Once you get in your hands you can compare it to a Fender Strat and you will immediately know the difference.

SOUNDS

The tone of this guitar is well above average, The reason for that is the quality of the pickups. If you put quality pickups in this guitar you would be able to get a much more playable and usable tone from it. The humbucker is not good at all and the single coils have so much buzz and noise that it would make a lot of people be turned off to the electric guitar.

Play in through a decent amp like a Fender twin or Princeton. Let the amp mask some of that terrible tone from this guitar. If you must play is at least switch out the pickups. Then you will be more satisfied with the results of your playing.

OVERALL OPINION

At new these guitars come in at around $179, which isn't a bad price for a guitar for beginners. I would only recommend this guitar to someone exploring their talents or taste of the electric guitar. This isn't not for someone just practicing or whatever. You will not be able to tolerate the feel and sound of this instrument.

This guitar feels and sounds like someone with no background on building guitars put this together blind folded. The build quality is as cheap as humanly possible. I actually think the pickups are probably worth more than the wood of the guitar itself.

This guitar came in the combo pact that came with an equally unimpressive Fender guitar amp. Both together will bring out the howling dogs. I think that amp sounds best in the off position. The guitar sounds best unplugged and sitting in the closet of little Johnny's room.
