Bought complete micro MS TORNADO set: MICROS 2 single coil neck and 60S for middle and a double bobinnage (replica of fred at Di Marzio) .These pickups are mounted on a lag collector 24 cases (stratovolcano home lag era Toulouse). clear microphones are clear, chattering, singing and a highly effective output power and reactive. they are precise and warm, and slightly crunch when attacks like a brute, smooth or normal attack, it's just the opposite, which is frankly very very nice for those who love the energetic funck, anyway it ' microphones is finally very polyvant and accepts as vintage sounds and modern !! I am always a fan of Di Marzio, it was with pleasure that I discovered the humbucking bridge in MARC made to his magical fingers, my boy, well congratulations !! I have not been disappointed, the grain is, warm, saturated sound that satisfies without being aggressive, round and well rock! Means any notes when you sweep, I mean that they are well separated and absolutely no drafts !! A delight to tell the truth, and ditto a very good level output. The icing on the cake is when passing twice in singles, the surprise is, too, reacted very well, even if it is not simple, there is a slight grain that approximates a simple bobinnage !dropoff window of course it will depend on the amp setting, pedal, ect! To sum it all: These microphones are organic !!!, and I strongly advice, especially I think for those who want them mounted on a Stratocaster for clear, because I think this is taking full extent! At least on most modern type of guitar there's no pictures, I re -découvert my guitar! MARC I say a big thank you for your stuff, and also your kindness, your listening and your availability! Well done guys !!!!!

To be honest, I have not tried FURTHER custom microphones (hand Fender Strat 57/62 on American Vintage 57 that Mount not permit a great memory) and I looked at time of my purchase ct Lollar, Fender CS 69 Fat 50s) but I would do this choice without hsiter! Real craftsmanship Made In France and priced well below the competition!

I never had the pleasure dessayer strat L series so I can not tell if the sound is near or not and any fawn, this set is mounted on a 50s Strat RI ( rable key) so the sound can not be identical a strat rosewood fingerboard. In addition, wood utiliss are not same. But even when we find really biting that characterizes the sound of these mythical guitars.
If I had to name a guitarist for voquer the sound of these pickups (although quune host of other parameters are taken into account as Lampl and fingers of the man), it would no doubt Rory Gallagher!

These microphones require quune thing Quon returned them in! With a hot amp crunchy and well, this is pure happiness! The bass is prsents but never muddy and quilibrs perfectly with the treble. The micro bridge is biting but be aggressive like this is too often the case with Strats. They are also very versatile. What jentends by ragissent is that they fully play. Each is a sharp attack dharmoniques deluge

Fans (including myself) surf, old rock and roots music in general also will appreciate the clean sound microphones on a Twin Reverb for example. L too, these microphones are very accurate, almost too! The slightest mistake is highlighted and will not forgive! One finds all the funky and bluesy sounds lon expected dune strat jou clean sound.

Finally, if I were dfinir this set of microphones in 3 words, what would be the following: Dynamism, Accuracy and definition.

I purchased a set of 3 Strat 60's The Paraffins and not of the same polarity.

I've Mount on a Mexican strat good violin: good sustain, good handle and a stable tuning. I found the standard microphones Southwestern really wolves (only the neck pickup was fair), but the goal was to change soon as possible. I took the time to try the Fender pickups to get an idea (the noiseless series, texas special, custom shop fat 50, 57/62 ... etc). A matter of taste, but I've never found my happiness on these industrial microphones (not yet donns!)

I discovered by looking for excellent returns of experiences comment on the Tornado Ms microphones Marc Aimar. After some sound coutes and with the advice of Mark, I order a set 60's!
Once reu, I launched into the mounting my plate using a PIO capacitor, and a set of cables cotton (with a good Schematic and patience has rolls alone).

Prcis of dynamic microphones quilibrs, full of colors and sounds really ... vintage!
The three microphones are beautiful, are full of qualities, and makes for very ensembles. The sound palette is rsulte gniale. In a few words:
-the bridge pickup is dynamic, crystalline Imitating (but never aggressive to the ear)
-The neck pickup has beautiful serious, it's bluesy remaining very accurate with the "crunchiness" on the attack.
-the middle pickup combines perfectly with the other two and only sounds really good.

The guitar is obviously metamorphosis, and finally gives the best of his violin.
I am really very happy with this set, and rediscover the strat SOUND.
This is a price-quality ratio excellent, especially for microphones measures Made In France and a handmade!

I wanted to change the neck pickup of my old Strat US 1975 which was not great (I had already replaced the bridge pickup with a humbucker DiMarzio SuperDistorsion!).
After sailing on the net, I came across the site Tornado MS, and his great demo Pickups: In the end I took the total, ie the Set 3x μStrato 60's (L series), purchased and installed a new guitar "TORNADO Strat1963_L Reissue 'meeting by Marc Aimar aout2014:

_ Pickups: This set of 3, with stepped studs is properly superb, and what a sound! Very inspiring!
Focused on the medium, hot for a Strat, never even on μ nasal bridge. Neck pickup: super sound Hendrix & SRV .. Guaranteed quality of my game around!
It has beautiful crystal harmonics, especially in intermediate positions 1 + 2 or 2 + 3 (5-way switch): finally the powerful, vibrant and subtle complete what I really could not have with my micros1975 to studs stepped Not too bassy and relatively bland.
Also, Alnico V magnets are very well rounded finish.
I find it very cool prices, given the quality of these microphones, deep knowledge of Mark, his wise counsel and availability!

_ Guitar: Vintage chose Olympic White "Light Relics", which is perfect! all metal parts are Fender Reissue or period1963. Light body, frets Vintage fine, resonant handle very, very polite, super comfortable with light nitrocellulose lacquer old! Key Light Rosewood "PaoFerro" very smooth, but sensual! All well done, an action that I possibly would lower with time.

I ordered a set with the 60s series The bridge of Gilmourish series to replace a set of assets with EMG DG20, all installed on a Elcery Xavier Petit (RIP).
I waited two weeks before posting this review for two reasons. First, because I had to tame the microphones but revise my amp / effects settings, and secondly because I was too busy playing
What I love most: the sound.
What I like least: I seek.
Very good Q / P and with the experience if I had known I would have installed these pickups earlier report.

I had my Les Paul with a set of 59 at Paf Storm and my Telecaster Nocaster set a 54. I was filled each time.
I failed my Strat, a classic player 60's with excellent violin but the sound was not there, flat featureless, whatever. So I decided to recontact Marc Aimar from what I was looking advised me set his 60's L series, with a set of pickup Gilmourish to optimize the sound into overdrive.
So ordering a prewired with a great wiring plate and a push pull to activate the neck pickup on the middle / bridge positions.
Upon receipt, I opened the package and pleasant surprise, great overall finish and mounting plate, 3 welds to make, easy.
The timing of the test finally arrived, plugged in to my fender 22w lamps, I took a real slap: the guitar sounds ever, magnitude, a perfect balance between the different mic positions, precision obligation Game given the precision microphones ...
I wanted her to Hendrix or SRV, well this is where Vintage wish. Super output level for simple, amazing.
The bridge pickup is really the set gilmourish top, not loud, nice and punchy and overdrive, it screams well ....

This set of microphones is a treat for those looking for a Strat sound a little gritty and warm in a vintage record of the heyday Pre-CBS.

I already knew the microphones Tornado MS since I've owned a Strat Highway 1 (economic model made in USA) a set of Texas Blues and Gilmourish easel that were really good in a vintage style in testosterone. An excellent memory.

I love the sound of my Strat Custom Shop Relic 60 but I've always found the sound too aggressive with a serious back log and a high-pitched sound. So I ordered a set of microphones with Marc. In keeping with the spirit "60's" and vintage, I asked Marc to blacken the blocks microphones, not parafiner microphones (they are just painted) and not to reverse the polarity of the middle pickup.

I do not have lot of knowledge "simple" micro but I could broadly be compared with the original pickups (Fender Custom Shop) and is at least two tones above. In the end, the sound is amazing hand dynamics, versatility and sound quality. Intermediate positions are more "deep" more marked and the bridge pickup is finally usable, even volume up. I can finally use the guitar volume and tone thoroughly. The sound has lost aggressiveness and gained expressiveness. The attacks are exactly right hand transcribed. The bass is round and precise. The sound is never messy. Changing pickups so worth it because I finally have the sound I wanted. Strat sound great, period!

I built a strat with a coprs alder and neck with rosewood fingerboard, body made by a luthier. I wanted pickups that would be up to the violin, and after much research I came across the site to Marc and the opinions posted by users ...
After some discussion with Mark; I opted for the strat pickups 60 'with pickguard, potentiometer and condo ...
I've ridden, I plugged my strat and there: bam !! slap !!!!!!!! I have no action in Mark and my opinion is that it is more neutral but these pickups are just extras!
I tried a lot of micro front (fender, seymour, Kinman ...) but there are really those above.
Intermediate positions which tended to sound dark with other pickups are absolutely beautiful.
And what about the pickup that I was using very little, it is organic and provides a perfectly balanced sound! ditto for the micro environment that made me rediscover the sounds hitherto unknown of my guitars!
As you can see I am absolutely satisfied with these pickups and I can confirm that prior reviews.
When we tried to no one says mouai to see ... and once tried it's impossible to let go of the guitar so it's addictive, in a word it sounds !!!
I ordered a set for my Telecaster, I look forward to it.

I have a model Stratocaster SRV for 4 years.
This guitar is equipped with microphones Fender Texas Special. These pickups have always been good. Many guitarists have found my great guitar (Even on custom shop pickups I tested on relic my strat in texas special was not ridiculous).
Only by falling on a video of the 60's L series I say that the "REAL" sound was not there, and he was so controlling these famous boutiques microphones whose views more than positive showed excellence!
So I contacted Marc Tornado MS, explaining that the main influences of my game ranged from Hendrix, SRV, Frusciante Gilmour.
He recommended me his set 60 with a pickup in the set Gilmourish: by micro wound that reacts very well on the drive, and that the clean sound is less "slamming" the easel set 60's.
I ordered this on a plate with a pre-wired wiring on top, a push pull to activate the neck pickup on the middle / bridge (hence the 3 pickups together) and bridge positions (its very telecaster !!)
I received it quickly and there's only one thing to say: CA SOUNDS OF THUNDER!

The controls are tone ultra powerful and accurate, we can really have a jazzy sound on micro nimporte what the EQ is perfect, it's not screaming like my old texas special, this is musical in every position (the position texas my middle pickup was unnecessary because the garish possible)
The volume can play a fuzz on the former, we go from clean to fuzz crazy in no time.
I use a lot of pedals excellent shop (Effectrode compressor Effectrode booster, JHS, Mojo Hand, Banzai, Echo belts vintage Echorec.) And new pickups really change anything, even though my sound was already great before!

The value for money is great because you will not find any microphones such as the commercially forget seymour, Fender CS, etc, send an email to Mark, he's a very available that always responds to any question nimporte even the most ignorant like me!
I repeat that choice if I buy one day a guitar with humbuckers, I'll call Mark!

I have an American Standard Strat US 2004 that serves as my second guitar. The violin is of excellent quality, easy to adjust, comfortable undeniable game, good sound vacuum in short, a good number (which is not always the case in the USA). But nothing to do, once plugged in, hard to make a mix out through the middle pickups and / or neck, it sounds muffled, it lacks dynamic roundness. The bridge pickup, on the contrary was too garish. Decided to sell it, I put an ad online and stumbled a few hours later, on the site of Mark!

8 mails later, I learned a lot of interesting stuff in an area that was unknown to me, I withdraw my ad and places an order for Pickups 60s mounted on a full plate wired. The package arrived two weeks later, perfectly protected. Two welds to the base jack, another to connect the vibrato to the ground, mounting childish (though I dreaded!).

Once connected, it is the slap. I totally rediscovered my instrument. The dynamics are simply excellent (microphones are lacquered and unwaxed, tone knob no lead). In the bridge position, a lot of biting, it is crystalline, without ever becoming garish. In the neck, it is much more rounded, very friendly and always so dynamic. In central position it is a good mix of both, very defined. It is organic in overdrive. Any micro-nuance is transcribed, prompting frankly to improve her game.

I will come to perfect my mind after a few weeks of intensive use. Anyway, Marc seeks to know well the tastes and needs of its customers. This personalized approach is reflected in the final result, for a very reasonable price.

I have a standard strat us but I did not like the sound it made it minporte sr amp !!
I contacted marc by email on his website and I asked him he could do for me knowing that I wanted a very blues rock sound that most closely matches the Sound SRV.
so he immediately advised me his 60s strat pickups.
two days later here I am at home with my guitar, I therefore command luis micro strat 60s mounted on new black plate.

two weeks she was prète !!! I went to get her and when I plugged into his amp vibroreverb tornado ms also, this is not a slap but a punch in the face that I took !! wwouuaaaouuu !!! exactly the sound I was looking !!! I feel like the one in the hands mumber !!!
