I got this headset comes with a zoom R16, so I tried just to see what he had in his stomach. Well honestly ... not bad at all. The sound is fairly neutral, but two major flaws at this level: it lacks bass and treble is a bit like if we had put the headphone in a decreased equalizer and the bass and treble while leaving the midrange ... ultimately a lack of clarity that will not mix reliably.
That said, compared to the Sennheiser HD201, it is 10x better for 20 euros more. Going up a little bass and treble to the preamp, you can have something relatively neutral, otherwise niet.
In sum, a very good headphones for recording, but preferably to be replaced by better (its big brother the 880 for example) to the mix.
