No compatibility issues with windows 7 64bit anyway.
Intuitive configuration.
Not need to understand the operation manual, and even less when we have bases of music theory.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
I have a Windows 7 64bit
Intel Core i5 2320 3GHz
8GB of Ram
Asus ATI EAH5770 graphics card
In short, a very good gear and despite this, some are recognized freeze crashes see if we ask him too.
Ideal for those who want to take their time to write their scores, however, if you plan to write two pages in a time of 2 minutes, it might freezer ..
OVERALL OPINION
I use it frequently and over a year.
I try free spreadsheets found on the net, version 4 and 5 of Guitar Pro ... nothing compares.
In this interface is not very different annoying, you get used to quickly interface more intuitive GP6.
The +
* Intuitive
* Possible to edit many tracks and instruments
* The exports to PDF, midi, wave and GP5 (available after update) are welcome
* Many tunings available with 7 and 8 strings (for 8 strings, it seems to me that GP5 did not do)
The -
* The freezes and crashes, not enough stable.
* Sounds CSR gives a slight glimpse but protects a misnomer because the sounds are far from being realistic (but it's still more enjoyable than the noonday ...).
* GP5 offered the opportunity to build the battery pack "solfègique" AND so "tablature" with a number corresponding to an element (38 = clear box / 40 = kick). The latter approach has been eliminated in version GP6 which is unfortunate, because if Guitar Pro is designed for drummers guitarist more than it would have been better to just keep this scoring system, especially for non-drummers for have the opportunity to learn the nomenclature battery.
Despite the drawbacks, if I do it again if necessary choices because I have not found better yet.
