Value For Money :
Excellent
The installation is done it without problems? No worries ... Nevertheless, the first updates take time! Once the first updates made, well if you use it often it goes fast!
The manual is clear and sufficient? Comprehensive manual!
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Attention to save your old versions in the new format (. Gpx) otherwise, some changes will bugger the software! It will also remember to check the sounds and, less often, the score (some notes are not transcribed for the passage. Gp to. Gpx) ...
When you're used to older versions, it takes a little time to get started ... Nevertheless, Has it not for 107 years either!
Net progress on CSR, however, it still sounds a bit synthetic (although you certainly sound card ...)! Nevertheless, many opportunities for critical ...
It is quite possible to change the sounds settings in a single track (up to 4) but not the instruments!
OVERALL OPINION
I have been using in November 2010 whether to work partitions for my group (homogeneity of the different instruments), call or come with me ... I've used older versions of GP before and it suits me perfectly so I do not see the need to look elsewhere!
What I like most is the interface and the ability to make nice scores and simply use the software that allows me! What I like least is having so many settings possible sounds, it's good for diversity, but we tend to get lost in it all and it is not, in my opinion, the purpose of the software (or it should be a simple version for sounds with opportunities to have all that for the most demanding?). And also the lack of scores gpx on the net but it will come
55 euros at fnac, good value for money for a choice I would do it again without hesitation!
