I broke down in 2002, I missed too much to have to have a "mixer" at home. So, wanting to buy m. .. I took the CDJ 500 II. I mainly use is fair, but sometimes in the evenings (personal).
Mine work perfectly. No complaints, no malfunction since the purchase.
on the other hand, which convinced me to buy them is that these decks were the standard in all the clubs before the arrival of the CDJ 500S, then the CDJ 1000. He would have sold a lot, while the clubs need fiabilitée absolute (if not, the disaster). It is a proof of their quality.
In addition, they were the first decks to offer the master tempo. Bleuffant at the time, nobody knew it!
I've heard ... that the weak point was the cover that jumps, the valve eventually stop working ... The trick, hold the lid to prevent slamming it to the opening.
In conclusion, great product, safe bet for reliability. It is more than enough to host a party!
