Topic Old school and new
Good morning. First I'd like to say I religiously avoid ITB tracking. I prefer the old school way of recording to recorders rather than pc's. I do however record to hard drives My stereo mix goes into the puter for mastering. I'm a pretty good and experienced guitarist, though a terrible singer!! Hahahaha. I play enough bass to get by and the same with keys, even though its a rare thing to hear keys on my own stuff.

And now for the good stuff:

Recorders: 2 Roland VSR-880's for a total of 16 24 bit tracks.

Preamps: Grace 101, Joe Meek 3Q, Focusrite Trackmaster Pro, ART MP (pair)

Mics: MXL V57 ldc, SM57, CAD 90 sdc, Samson Co2 (pair), Yamaha mic (unknown model), Shure BG 2.0

Simulators: Behringer V-Amp2, Digitech Genesis, Behringer Bass V-Amp Pro

Processing: FMR RNC, Alesis 3630, Alesis Microverb

Interface: Magix Audio Studio 2005 Deluxe.

Other: Alesis SR-16, Yamaha TMX

And if I can't make music with all that, well, I probably should quit trying!!!

I hope to get to know some of you guys.

Later,

Kevin
