UTILIZATION
Configuration is very simple, you're the branches and you play, I do not have the manual and frankly I do not need it. Just read what it says on the amp.
There are multitudes of opportunities in small amp (small in size, of course). A headphone jack for quiet play with 2x12 or 4x12 choice simulation with the same output you can dub you on a table or for my part, I plug in my home studio.
An effects loop which is frankly more which does not affect the sound in any case.
An MP3 input to play with "backing track".
SOUNDS
In my case, I have a pretty varied register, blues, rock, post rock, hard rock, funk etc ...
I think this amp is really doing well in all registers.
Associated with the clean reverb is good, warm, well-defined. I play with a LP and despite what I've read, I can keep a clear sound without a good crunch volume. I can get pretty near all the sounds I need.
The overdrive sends heavy. The EQ does its job well, as it is the ISF really can tweak its settings. Now for the pure metal (which is not my favorite record) must, I think associate an external EQ.
I put a delay in the loop and then there .... a killer.
Now let's talk power, when I was told about a 5 watts, it made me smile. Well, I'm incredibly surprised sound level for this power. I once had a Blackheart 15/7w and well Backstar did not blush and far away. After this remains an amp to power work at home, home studio etc ...
OVERALL OPINION
In conclusion, I would say that this amp is happening everywhere champion for its usefulness. Nothing is cast, the finish is excellent, the sound is wonderful, it is complete in the connectors, I did not find any fault. Then allows the weight to carry around.
For that price I admit it is top (amp a month secondhand 320 euros), made a comparison with the VOX AC4TV or BLACKHEART BH15-112 (I had not long), c 'is the day is night.
You'll understand, I'm in love with this amp and do this choice without hesitation.
