15w all-tube, a clear two-channel two inputs a drive a high gain low gain one, and a good old spring reverb that sounds not so bad

one more: an insert effects loop (send / return), excellent for a delay or rverbe to sound less than boiling output distortion

a minimum: no standby, at least not on mine, I'd be curious to know how long the lights will live

the volume is perfect for me playing in my Burau and transplanted the sound of the HP with a microphone

UTILIZATION

The config even if there is little knobs offers significant versatility. The button 'tone' particularly strong change in the color of his post equalization: the beginners I thought had only changed the sound of the nay rverbe but a difference. The equalo trs is effective and has a real personality and slobbery fat.

SOUNDS

Edict of 11/08/08: I do not understand why all these good people tell and retell that you can not do metal with this amp, especially since apparently none of them made of metal. Good: ME I do, and I guarantee that if you not in the n'officiez numetal or death trs technique that required every two trsdfinis sounds, this amp is perfect for metal, black, doom, drone, the sludge, the stoner, etc.. The trick is to make him the right of distortion pedals before: I tried with bigmuff, a ProCo Rat, a metal zone, a DOD death metal, a boss bass overdrive, boss and a XTorsion sounds terrible ...

The sound ... I read below that it is not suitable for mtal? Saturated channel alone is true does not make much profit, by a distortion in front against a hard schement and you can get a hyper-saturated low volume by connecting the pedals on Channel drive-I have even need to lower the gain a bit that has got too pure. My record of doom / drone trs trs serious and slow, this amp works wonders.

Something trs INTERESTED in this amp is that HP is a 10-inch (and not 8 as a harley benton GA5, a valve junior or 6 as a fender champ600), so a cash and restores really serious trs saturations, and its clear to me that plays much agreement in drop-D comes out really well. My skull string trio / Gretsch Humbuckers / big muff sounds hyper-heavy with a volume that does not kill all the house: exactly what I was looking for.

on the other hand, in fact if you want the dry trsdfini trs the nu-metal I think this amp is not for you. Remember that it's a blues amp destiny behind.

OVERALL OPINION

Edit of 04/01/2010: APRS have had this amp for two years, I regret t have to sell it, because it is really too powerful to be taken of its volume optimal flat - before the silent studio in my office in a house ... TRS is by far the best amp I've tested in this price range, especially since it is found nine under 350 euros grandbretons our friends. If you have one, keep the rating of opportunity right now is not worth the resell - except equitable exchange as I had the chance to make a <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_lol.gif" alt="" /> . If you hsitez, you could buy one before they stop making this amp and become legendary.

Edict of 11/08/08: I have the amp for several months and I can not change it for anything. I'm going against him by adjoiindre a 15-inch cabinet that I find a ds ....

I reu yesterday and jou have a good time today, so I will modify this view in proablement qq months.

on the other hand before buying one of the occasion (thank you enguy) I tried all models while low wattage lamps: the Fender Champion 600 (which I think has not the same helpful I'll buy one also ending for) the Ibanez (too sharp, too small HP), the Peavey ValveKing (ditto), the junior GA5/valve (ditto), the Laney LC-15 (a much more " rock "and less well finished) etc.. and the Orange Tiny Terror.

Let's say the laney is trs above the competition in terms of versatility and quality of sound (it is also well finished trs), but frankly it is more expensive. The only comparison that supports and allows to collect the sound of a metalzone without flinching, and many return it is the orange but it is much more expensive.

The report qualitprix does not mean much in the sense that if you want an all-tube dual channel with an HP acceptable and a good finish is the only amp in this price range (about nine euros 470, 300 350 used). Basically: it's expensive watt, but worth every penny.

I will tell you in a few months if I would do but since this choice has been four months that I break the legs of all merchants amp that I find a m'tonnerait I change my mind :-)
