When I think of the best cleans tones in the world, I think of Vox and Fender. The fender cleans are probably the best and the Vox has a darker woodier tone that is instantly recognizable. The Vox to me has the best tone for a pedal to go in front of an amp. I have played many Vox's and they are hands down the best clean amps to throw a pedal in front of.

SOUNDS

There really isn't one guitar or pedal that works best with this amp. Try anything you like because it all sounds very good. Play a Fender Strat and an Ibanez TS9 and you will be in heaven with the tones that come out of these speakers. This sounds great with an Electro Harmonics Big Muff as well. One of my favorite tones on the planet is a Vox AC with a Big Muff in front of it. This combination is so epic and note worthy that it makes playing the guitar so enjoyable.

OVERALL OPINION

If you don't have the money to spring for a Vox Ac30 or a vintage one then this might be right up your ally. At new they come in at around $600. That is a heck of a price for a solid tube amp that it light weight and portable. Don't let the 15 watt scare you into not producing loud usable tones. These amps get pretty stinking loud!

I would recommend this amp to anyone who needs a great clean amp and doesn't want to spend $1000's on a Matchless or Divided by 13 amp. Those are great amps too, but to me this is where its at tone wise. The only setback it they are made in Red China. So that is how they get the price down this low. If you need an American made Vox then go with a Hayseed amp.

Any lamp 15w amp (very drawing), usable in all scenarios through its master volume. A 12-inch speaker that sounds Celstion grennback! Two channels: Normal and Top Boost, with switchable A / B box and mixable with an ABY box.
He has two new switches and standby power metal, not the ugly plastic stuff k'AC15CC1 ...

It's simple if you read the manual to understand the role of EQ and Tone Cut ...

SOUNDS

Clear sound to fall (even better with a good lamp in V1 (or 12ax7C Groove Tubes Tung Sol), warm and bright and round or crystalline depending on the settings (very fine: there are two parametric EQs + 1 tone cut on the last stage of processing power to manage spikes in the treble)
There crunch mid volume, and it is good to cruncher also powers lights. No saturation max, but a crunch of madness, we can Bosst with a treble Bosst, or overdrive playing more on the tone & volume on the drive.
Excellent with a Telecaster, with a warm wish Les Paul, and aggressive when pushed.

OVERALL OPINION

Not too expensive, especially since it is less expensive than its predecessor with a much better HP and an extra channel. She can stick a speaker of 8 ohms or 16, or to add a 2nd grennback baffle which operates in parallel (16 ohms).
It is heavy, annoying to carry (but carrying a Vox walk long distances?)
Hours of great sound good perspective! Rockabilly in his 70's. A legendary amp, bin rather conceived in this version.
It's worth it to change some lights to give it more body. And the reverb by Accutronics more velvety (count 30 euros).

I have mine for three days, special red version. It is clear that it sounds better than black eh.
Tube amp almost as rectifier diodes therefore not compliant, and reverb-tremolo circuit IC centipede.
Lamps of Chinese origins, not terrible but it works.
Additional output hp (we keep the greenback) or external (it is cut), with switch 8 / 16 ohms.
Socket for remote control (reverb, tremolo, not yet tested).
The HP is a 16 ohm greenback, and as the boyfriend said he is splendid.

Looop would have a great pleasure, colon crack.

UTILIZATION

Vox was hard this year because we finally entitled to two separate inputs (1 with volume alone, 2 with bass-treble-volume) is not to take extra cabbage. More and use clean it allows me to use my mini bazaar noon (drive + nova FX550) without loss of sound because I'm mixing effects via input 1.

The reverb-tremolo acts on both channels, as the master and the tone cut.
The 2-band eq is weird, but it sounds to zero, and if you go up the bass and treble carve vice versa, so not possible to have both. Well ...

Output volume level, the greenback moves serious, but I do not think that we can cover a clean beater, as it saturates when the channel volume 10hrs. I changed V1 12ay7 a small gain, but it is less apparent than usual, as soon saturates 11hrs now ... The sound is less hard on the other hand.

In practice it's nice, surprising because even without EQ on channel 1 was the direct sound without plug.

SOUNDS

5 hours of use so far, but sustained volume. Used an Ibanez guitar equipped with H57 but Kinman avn56 avn62b and therefore quite stratum in the general idea (except that it takes the agreement and does not pull the right palm).
It is clear that the original tubes were chosen for their reliability, not their sound (nothing worse for a manufacturer that a product in return for a tube that will not ...), and this also applies to EL84.
So 12ay7 EH in V1, a studio 12AX7 in V2, V3 the stock diverter and two EL84 tad str and it sounds much more gentle and warm, with a distortion less transistors than stock. Because for me the purpose of a class is warm and creamy sound, music, and not aggressive rough (why are other English ...).

Channel 1 very balanced, thoroughly perfect because not fat, the rate reached a low distortion you need a booster rather skinny kind Rocktron Nitro or surprise Bebert CS100 (all fully sustain except at noon). So it's downright beautiful everything is.
Channel 2 I take to clean, so bass and treble back to zero, Volume 11 hrs max. Hot soup is raah lovely especially with the reverb (too good but metered) and tremolo (super, better than the fender deluxe reverb in my memory).

Attention is a sound or the other because the master is to balance the bottom (cut tone at noon) to clean, and at noon (tone cut to the bottom) for the distortion.
Therefore ab box I see not too useful yet.

Have tested several hp and greenback is really a good choice because not too steep but a fuckin grain in the low-mids, and a sacred volume for ptits watts given him, so generous.
As I think I use at home (it is red, special edition, great!) I have a hp much creamier and less efficient, with lots of bass.
Must see what we want to do with the amp and prepare accordingly, is more flexible tubes that transistors ...


OVERALL OPINION

Firstly I think that this group will not do a clean sound, I compared with my bassman is really much less strong. And as it just clean enough ...
This Vox is nice, I'm just a tad disappointed with the side not very clear from the disto he proposes, but hey I had no point of comparison. As such it is closer to that of May Blackmore finally maybe my guitar too.

It is very well mounted, I did not notice any noise when we play it, and the asking price is frankly ridiculous for this special edition (less than 600 roros!).
So I will ever again!

The clean is superb! We are dealing with a Vox tube quality, no doubt about it.
It easily covers any drummer without twisting.

Overdrive: Vox very typical here too, we get a lot of sound with dynamic enough so cradingue Plexi, but with the grain Vox. In short, we like or not!
Tone Cut takes its full meaning here

Be aware that adding a TS 808 of the clean, you get a finer grain "Marshallian" (Vintage, not modern way JCM 2000).
Again, the 15 watts are all here! No worries for a snooze / concert.

The original hp (Green back) is simply exceptional.
I plug it regularly on a 4 * 12 * 12 or 2 (both equipped with V30) and no worries for vibrating membranes

Reverb (spring), like the tremolo, are of excellent quality. And what is more controllable foot (via footswitch to 30 € not included).

OVERALL OPINION

True two-channel combo (with Master) at reasonable power tubes, this amp has a place in the current offer.
He is handsome, well finished and it sounds!
The huge 15 watts can play in all situations.
A heavy coat may be a bit cumbersome ... Very well thought out HP with its sup (the greenback is not disabled in this case).
We regret the absence of an effects loop.

In short, a must try for those looking for a quality portable amp

ps: if anyone has found a pedal that would give it a modern Marshall type overdrive (JCM 2000), I am taking the info

SOUNDS

Its clear perfect, very distinctive "British" for the boost channel: Beatles fans, surf / garage rock, etc. ... ; Do not hesitate! Welcome to the sources of rock'n'roll!
We note a slight lack of versatility when the amp is used bare (without pedals / od etc. ...), due precisely to its strong personality and his very distinctive in crunch, rough and grainy wish. .. A good setting is nevertheless essential as regards the treble, which can sometimes take off a tympanum.

It will please metalheads can not be, but certainly satisfied all other guitarists, especially those sensitive to the sounds of vintage early 60's. I use it mainly with a Telecaster, a Gretsch or a Danelectro, and just a tube screamer maxon od-808: a treat!
A small point less for the reverb which lack a bit of finesse (basically it's all or nothing, because with the volume pot on 3 you widely perceived to play in a church). A small nano holy grail can largely solve this little dot "negative", but not necessarily essential.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several months. What I like most is obviously the sound typed this wonderful little machine that in terms of quality / price is a bargain in my opinion.
However, I intend to test some lamps in the near future ...
I would do without hesitation that choice!
