3 channel all-tube head
- An effects loop
- Power section: 4 6L6
- Section prampli: 5 12AX7
- Recovery Section: 2 5U4G
- Rglage Bass, Mid, Treble, Gain, Presence, Master for each channel
- Rglage gnral volume and volume solo
- 2 modes for channel 1: clean and crunch
- 3 modes for channels 2 and 3: raw vintage and modern
- How bold / spongy
- Mode recovery diodes or tubes
- 5 external switch outputs (1 per channel and one for single player and FX loop) for connecting to twelve o'clock as ENGL Z11 switcher, Rocktron Patchmate
- A bias switch for 6L6 or EL 34 as the bias fixed at this mesa MESA requires purchase of lamps (beautiful manouevre commercial)
- 1 output for connecting external amplifiers
Short enough connectivity complte it is regrettable that the head is not Fully noon as the ENGL is really good but be choosy
go 9 / 10 because perfection does not exist
UTILIZATION
- Manuel in the language of shaekspeare so if you are Anglophobe, do walk your ears
- The knob is a formidable efficiency any rotation and change your sound is immediately
- The configuration of the loop is quite interesting because you can adjust the rate of effect compared to its "pure" as well as send the mix but having said on rack such as the G-major, one can also set this parameter so eventually you have to tweak and test diffrent combination to make your sound
It is not necessarily find its empty but it is HIS nanmoins easy to find something good
use is relatively simple, to be logical suffite
9 / 10 also because perfection is still no
SOUNDS
So here is the most important
I tried with different guitars: ESP, Ibanez, Schecter, and even Parker
[/ B] CHANNEL 1
Clean: relatively straight and rather moves away when Fender and even neither better nor worse, just DIFFERENT may as well be suitable for jazz or blues has the metal end of mwarff begins CF career! ! lens and a soft enough time to give you a palette of sounds INTERESTED
Crunch: good crunch, in the words of Igor can play on the characters of the crunch with the gain and presence to give the appearance much DIFFERENT from each other
CHANNEL 2
Distortion channel is a close enough (in quotes) at the Marshall saturated gain of saturated rock can be quite a bit more but it's still a couillues see the 3 raw vintage and modern modes allow for a range of sounds pretty ruffed up donns saturated style of ACDC, Led Zep, etc. see Punk has known that lowering the gain you can get a nice crunch
CHANNEL 3
So is the "Avoinator"
quite identical to channel 2 with a bit more balls
the saturated 'are both fat and warm and prcise you dcoller standard wallpaper and the slip
diode rectifier and tubes
recovery diodes give forth a sound aggressive enough typ Metal
recovery tubes is a softer less aggressive diffrent, it does not sound less metal but you correct the equalization based on what you want to hear because I think what you want to hear the head can give
in terms of the Grain gnral in saturated, ca me look pretty low and high port mediums (with acute non-aggressive) more so than some other brand as ENGL or more concentrated lower mediums it seems
short between its 3-channel or multi-mode and your guitars, it is enough to make
good will has yet 9 / 10 because it lacks graphic equalization would be nice
mode and 50 watts to perform well in the power tubes
For despite the bold spongy mode which reduces the volume and also makes crmeux, ca trs still powerful
OVERALL OPINION
I use this head for 8 months
I love: the Versatile's not the SON is not a Rectifier head Metall and god knows that the fight in which I start is still a long
This head is not a plant Saturation it provides good sound and light crunch really is no bluffing prjugs please?
I hate: its price. MESA and the black box in particular practice is ca unacceptable prices even if it is at its Panard, trs see much too expensive
There is also some problems of reliability if you compare to other premium brands such as VHT or Soldano, Diezel, Bogner
If you like the Mesa buy the grain because no amp in the world will give you the grain if you like without it may be prfrable to try again and look for other brands / Model
Finally ca nanmoins remains one of the best head amp in the world so a 8.5 or 9 / 10 I would say that it penalizes the prize, the politque Mesa at Bias and lamps and light weight lack of reliability (all relative of course) on the MODEL rcent because it seems to me that there were several problems recement
