Preamp 2 units.
6 lamps 12 AX7.
Three independent channels.
Mono preamp, there is an outflow, therefore if a mono power amp behind (which is very rare) or a double cable.
1 output for direct recording.
control switch by noon or by some jack. (See photo below Pm ^ ^)
Settings: Bass middle treble volume gain for each channel. and a second gain knob for the rhythm and lead channels. channels for rhythm and lead it are two different non-controllable switch by noon that are "deep" to add more bass, as if y'avait need ... frankly, a switch and "hi-gain" which as its name indicates the gain boost
very well done for this short lil preamp, for cons I need heating in the office, with both PC and AC preamp heater itself.
I put 9 because it is not coffee.

UTILIZATION

The configuration-is it simple?
Well then the personal, I laugh, I go to a mesa quad preamp from home I took two years before managing to set it to ring a little close. I would rather tell you that it's really more intuitive as a preamp. You plug your guitar, we hack some settings, and it sounds.

we get easily a good sound, that's for sure, some of the channel. The manual that is provided is in English, but it's not too serious. and it clearly explains how the evening.
ptit the default user level is the switch to light is placed behind, not super convenient (but the right is a detail eh). I put 9 because of a switch behind

SOUNDS

Then the attack on the sensitive part.

I was looking for a preamp with lots of gain, and with a modern sound. TWINGO! (Those who have not seen the movie "who killed Pamela Rose?" Will not understand). I play mostly metal (a genre style ptite trend Néométal Mudvayne), eh bah I must say that I am not disappointed. I play mostly with my Ibanez RG570 granted Drop B Well it seriously oats. ptite with my Les Paul and EMG85, ca sent as severe.

we can obtain solid type of sound. ca on the clean channel can go from nice clean sound very round, the sound really more slamming, up cruncher happily if you push the gain knob. Personal I use for clean sounds good round. The Rhythm channel can go from lil crunch (I have not check if it could be light) has a big bluesy distortion well nag. I use this channel for crunch sounds. And then the lead channel ... BUT THEN PUT *** WHAT THE DISPATCH OF PULP Bougre !!!!!!!!!!! Finally I found a preamp and I must not go too the gain knob. gniiiii cow how severe oats! in addition I use a Marshall Valvestate Pro 120/120, so I guess not even a real tube amp ... shit I drool .... I aimeuh. I put 10 because the sounds are completely what I was looking for.

small edit: I forgot one detail, the bass was pushing back on the knob and the EQ, it sounds always, I lost against a neuron during the experiment .... ca does not bleed

OVERALL OPINION

I bought used There's a few days at 850 euros with a pedal RFX MP128, I am absolutely not disappointed. I tried anything else as preamp, apart from my quad, I have not even tried the VHT, I have relied only notice and samples (yes I'm barge), well I must say I am happy when I play. having bought OCCAZ, and seeing the new price, I think that the value for money is simply excellent. A thank you for letting me Scoti sold ^ ^

I would do the obvious choice, but I would do it much earlier, with my quad I slaved for two years to realize that ultimately it did not suit me. I hesitated with the duplex recording preamp, but I tried some before buying bah I'm not disappointed ft VHT is the class anyway. have now to buy a good power amp and banzai !!!!!

I put 9 for the switch hidden behind not practical, but it is the only flaw that I found ...
