Then the RockMaster is a all-tube preamp, but not MIDI, 3 channels, clean, crunch and lead with an effects loop for each channel, a general loop, 2 outputs and preamp preamp output level microphones.
This preamp uses 4 lamps, 3 for channels 1 and for the effects loop.

UTILIZATION

Good use is not complicated you play a turn knobs to make his sound but the settings may seem subtle, especially in the lead.

SOUNDS

I play metal and let's be honest, I do quasimment the lead channel on my amp classic al 50/50.
This preamp has a particular grain and fat enough Loading High mediums quite runny.
on the other hand I opened my preamp (bought used) and I understood everything, the four lamps are lamps peavey stamps and identical, so nothing folichon.
so I will Retube almpes with better quality and adapted for each channel.
APRS Retubing I repost an opinion.
on the other hand in the lead channel preamp has a good amount of gain that I find sufficient for the metal.
APRS see a retubing.

UPDATE OF 03/05/04
well I changed the lamps in the beast, I have kept the lamp there was for the effects loop, no great interest to change it.
if not in light of I put a Electro Harmonix 12AX7 and two lamps saturation I put 2 Golden Dragon 12AX7.
good conclusion, perois a slight gain more and more golden dragon load the sound medium.
but in the end the sound is more precise and cons I find that said gain of said hair blowing in addition but it's not very hard to solve.

OVERALL OPINION

A good preamp for the price at which it can be found in time, again without a problem
