Preamp Tube 12AX7 as written on the News
Connectors XLR or Jack 6.35mm
UTILIZATION
Easy to use
SOUND QUALITY
Here is the real subject, it is a preamp that costs about 50 €, and I have a Joemeek Joemeek SixQ ONEQ and which obviously cost much more.
The microphone input are: APEX 435 or E935 Seinnheiser
Hardware output is: Compressor / Expander DBX266XL, M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R.
Result (Experiment 3 years and 4 albums CD): Compared with Joemeek, I can do as well with a little more heat, and it bothers me because the price is not the same.
No breath with the PAD-20dB, the correct dynamics, no saturation by adjusting the output gain at 3 notch from max, and a sufficient power level.
So, I'm amazed, I even pushed the deputy to integrate 2 in a 19 "to have them available in my lap Samson, and according to the grain of the singer's voice (Waitress) I chose a Joemeek or Behringer .

Value for money: well, excellent
Yes, I would do this choice!
