Recently I have to have both up to hear through my headphones.... I used to be able to turn my monitor volume completely down and still use my headphone volume knob by itself. How do I fix this?

If you are using the Focusrite Control software, on the Device Settings tab, check to make sure the Monitor Controls are not set to control the volume for all outputs.

If by chance you are using the Focusrite Mix Control software and have changed some of the monitor preset buttons near the big volume dial on the right-hand side of the software. See this guide to an explanation of what the buttons do.
