Hello, I am currently starting to set a home studio. Im really new to all this stuff but I have a basic idea of everything. Currently I bought a Focusrite 18i8 and a pair of monitors. I am trying to connect the two monitors directly with a pair of TSR cables to the (1) and (2) ports from behind of the Foscursite as Monitor Output. However, the sound does not seem to appear. I already installed the lastest software for the thing and it does not seem to work at all. Also got the driver selected and everything. Sometimes both monitors work when I plug one on the back and the other one at front where the headphones are supposed to go. But I know this is not the proper way to do it.

Please Help!

I don't know if it works the same as the 18i20 but you can Check if the outputs are enabled.

With the 18i20 you can turn them on and off with 10 buttons above the master volume knob in the mixer software.

I believe the buttons should be blue..

If they are red... The outputs are off
