UTILIZATION

No problem with the drivers, nothing wrong. The whole is stable (Windows XP SP2).

GETTING STARTED

The installation is very simple, simply plug in the CD and insrer when they ask.

No problem configuration. Once you install the device in select options and squenceur his works.

No manual but it does not really need either.

OVERALL OPINION

This will make three years that I have my UX1. I had bought to use on my laptop (a Vaio 1.7GHz) telling me that I will do with a bit of everything. What I especially motiv c'tait the price but also the potential for recording guitars and basses. Record directly without the need for other plug-ins greedy.

I express all sorts of configurations and finally I turned my laptop into a guitar amp by just turning GearBox and FL Studio and some other plug-ins and plugging everything in a mixer to my PC fixed (which is my main tool).

For APRS I bought a few packs supplmentaires (including the famous metal pack) and it's really top. The simus as the same as those of the PODxt, which is more reputable to do.

I do not use so as to record guitars, gnralement saturated. I go into the UX with my ESP LTD M-400 (2x EMG81) not need to do drawing. Provided that one has the patience to tweak so-even, we get a sound gnial. Obviously my goal n'tant tripper not as if I was playing on an amp pushed vritable eleven but couraging good prods, a good mix RALIS you hear any diffrence .

The effects are passable but practical.

I tried to register to vote but that does not convince me. Actually I did not try a more than either, which is especially m'intressait guitars.

Another thing that does not convince me is the interface of GearBox and especially its management of presets a bit clumsy (having to go through every time all the menus).

Finally, if you want to record his guitar home and have available a broad spectrum of excellent sound (as long as you love hack) is labor, the UX is an excellent choice . Torque to DIFFERENT packs that can be obtained sparment (and cheap), this little box is a killer.

Obviously I would do without this choice hsiter.

I suggest you also take a tour of the cot that thread ( https://fr.audiofanzine.com/simulateur-ampli-guitare/line-6/POD-XT/forums/t.110594,un-bundle-de-quot-gros-sons-quot-metal-pour-podxt.html ) o vtm agnreusement put his excellent patches available for personal PODxt running perfectly on the UX.
