I chose this card for its compatibility with cubase and ProTool Mpowerhead. This allows me to listen to all files stored in my studio by different groups.
In addition, I needed a small portable USB sound card to record ideas on a guitar riff and drum midi song melodies all on a laptop. (I have several notebooks usually come when the inspiration I get the first PC that I found)

it lacks a second input to connect a second microphone or to the stereo.
lacks phantom power on a particular version that I bought.

UTILIZATION

drivers are stable. I usually use two or three tracks reading this card, but she is able to read much more. latency is correct.

the only problem is that the preamp breath a lot when pushed to its limits. So to get a correct result, mount the volume of the source (in my guitar amp) and decrease the volume of the entered card. bof is to make man studio apartment.

GETTING STARTED

easy to use, lightweight, no need manual, no power supply (it is powered by the USB port, so when you want to record something in the nature with a laptop that is nickel.)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 4 or 5 years. I tested a lot of cards in this category.

I love the weight, simplicity, compatibility cubase / protool.le ridiculous price
I do not like: the mono input (so there is a lack of opportunities). there is no power supply Phantom.le breath when you push the preamp.

if I were to buy a small USB sound card, I would take one with two inputs, a phantom power. According to the breath, in this slice taken, there are no miracles
