- I bought a base for its low latency (2-5 ms) and for the price of course
- I bought it for recording and live with the effects of the type of software and AmpliTube guitar rig
- My config: Athlon 64 2800 + (socket 754) Asus K8N motherboard + + 1 GB Ram + 40 GB IDE HDD 80 GB Sata HDD + + + FX 5200 Graphics Card Sound Blaster Live! 24 bits
- I use a Cort G254 guitar and nothing else

UTILIZATION

The installation is done without too much trouble, the only thing is to remember to select the asio JamLab the menus of the software use, and think back to the sound card as the main audio playback device (in control panel -> sound -> Audio tab), otherwise the sound is read with winamp for example out of the headphone jack of JamLab. Otherwise everything is clear and easy to use

GETTING STARTED

- No driver problem
- The updates seem regular
- I use Guitar Rig 1.1 and 2 and Amplitube with Cubase SX 3
- I get a latency between 2 and 5 ms, depending on the software
- I get to read a large number of tracks (about 24) but I can not save a

OVERALL OPINION

- I use it only for some weeks
- I often read that we had a hard time putting the effects directly, but in fact just plug the headphone output of JamLab to the line input of your sound card and password alone
- I just tried the Edirol UA 20 X Audio capture but it has more latency
- The value for money is in my opinion the best possible for € 70 a complete recording interface / FX for guitar, you do not do no better
- This choice I do not regret it at all
