Constructor see site
The features are simple and good for the price offered.
One positive point is assigned because it is self powered by the USB: it can dispense with power often annoying.
UTILIZATION
The installation is identical to any device.
Too bad it only works on linux reading (I expect new versions of Alsa) but it was expected: the external audio interfaces are not made for linux, at least not yet.
GETTING STARTED
I have not listed unexplained crashes.
I use Audacity for recording and for Chainer VST live.
Latency is inaudible even loading the CPU to over 50%.
I advise not to use more than 4 simultaneous effects because the sample and the resolution of the interface (48K/16bis) do not have the quality and functionality of a professional equipments.
The gain of the preamp is too low to use my Shure sm57, I plug in between the two a table that has a preamp with more gain. The preamps are as well used but it must be equipped with micro-efficient. They present can be a bit of breath when pushing the gain but I have not tried with good microphones.
It is well to record a keyboard, bass, or guitar and very simple. You plug a jack and it gives CD quality (no loss due to an effect or a change in volume).
The recorded sound is neutral and pretty cold but it is honest for the price range.
The sound is good reading, details, nothing to say.
The case is solid MobilePre hence its name: more falls to his credit without consequences.
It may not work on all USB ports, this is due surment more power to the motherboard to the mobile field.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year (I know). I use live effects for a group of garage rock and recording intruments, is adapted.
This is an audio interface start line which is homogeneous and quality.
