After a year of use I have just reread what I wrote last year.

- The screen is too small: well, it's always a bit boring this small, but frankly it can be done.
The advantage of this machine is that I carted everywhere: repeat, live in my job. It certainly could not do the same with a computer.
With this machine, you take it out of your fly box, you plug it in and record yourself ... It's still awesome ..
We can regret the absence of external monitor and mouse plug to work at home.

I keep the same criticism that last year the drum part: She throws at first, but after you throw it. It is almost inexpoitable. I have since invested in a Boss DR 880. And there is that of happiness.

-Transfer songs to the PC and a bit tedious ... It works well, but the manipulations are numerous.

UTILIZATION

I have not set foot in all functions of the beast.
It tames very quickly. We discover as and when months of use new tricks with the exigency that we acquire gradually.
I found no obvious limit.
Records the most complex I have included: three guitars, a bass, a set of percussion, keyboard, 3 votes. It's getting a lot of tracks (I never reached the 32), but the automation is doing its job. (Automation is virtual ... the pots are not motorized)

The manual is quite well done, and the machine is rather intuitive.

SOUNDS

Sound great ... But you need good microphones. (My Takamine spring super beautiful, but my songs are in need of correction graphic ... but that's probably because of my mics 2 balls)

Compatibility MIDI works well with what I sync, ie: Boss DR 880 and Boss GT-8.
It does not work very well with the Boss RC 50 ... (RC 50 but it is flawed on this point)

OVERALL OPINION

I think it's still great to work alone at home, to record their group and take it everywhere.
This is an excellent recording interface. We can obviously do whatever the mix. This is what I do for 1 year ...
But I wonder if the best would be to treat all the tracks stored on the computer (with Sound Forge) and mix with Cubase or Sonar.

Very positive opinion. (1 year of happiness and games with this machine)
