The precise characteristics can be easily found on the official website or here.

But why do we present as a studio recording D3200 16 channels at once while in actual practice it only records 12 tracks simultaneously. The four remaining tracks being reserved for an S / P DIF stereo (two tracks) and the reasons drums in stereo (two tracks). We can win a track can be using a preamp with digital output ... (300 euros more)

I sold my D 1200 for more analog inputs for live recordings. Deception at this level then the D1200 being announced as an 8-track simultaneous recording 8 tracks!

UTILIZATION

Another disappointment comes from the D1200. As it is an open machine: I changed the original hard drive to a 120 GB without any problems. Same for the CD / RW: it was enough to remove the detachable faceplate. No tools required.
On the D3200: nay! Everything is tight. In case of hard disk crashes, homecoming and no recorder for ... ? At least wait until the end of the warranty and remove the ten screws and more ...

The screen! Ah the screen. Who am presbyopic (watch out for sarcasm antivieux ...), it is the tiny screen. Of course, it displays all the functions but read with a magnifying glass. And what about the joystick ... Maybe this is a matter of habit. Interest but there's a good point and has to have the shakes. I regret the low screen resolution of orange but D1200 TOUCH. That was good!

Last thing. A detail, but detail agaant. The D3200, finally, my own, is shaky. I mean have you ever eaten in a restaurant on a table which was one of 4 feet shorter than the others? And well, ditto for my machine. Forced to slide a shim!. At this price ... It is a wedge of gold I'll put

SOUNDS

Nothing to say about the performance rating. The sound is nickel. But it's already been said, is not it?

OVERALL OPINION

Ben voila. I took my time to say all the evil I think. If the performance is, the user interface is dcevante and closed architecture, more. I'll see a use now. But I do not regret the purchase given the price and possibilities anyway. Especially since it is the only of its kind.
