Best value: Excellent
16 tracks, Bits 16-24 / 44.1-48 kHz.
Note that it is a 16-track, even 24/48, in contrast to other models that rduisent by half the tracks available for reading when we increase the bit rate! ;)
60mm faders motoriss, super ractifs. This machine is very enjoyable dcidment handle. Screen rtro light which does not increase its budget ophthalmologist. The must: a small panel VU meters + locate available permancence: no need to press 150 buttons to see the signal level.

The routing is a little ... Drout at first, but is much better when we realized that the mix of tables and sections MTR compltement are separated. Once acquired the operation (allow an hour to teach 90% of the functions of the machine - it is worse), the basic principle is "everything is routable everywhere."

There are six outputs and 8 inputs (which can pass 24 with optional cards), only one pair of XLR but the card still MYxxx 4 supplmentaires you provide, nothing to rler therefore (all the cards cotent not a look - the unit of 300 Euro.

Full automation, anything. Full 4-band EQ Settings, trs effective on all inputs and / or 16 tracks on the MTR. And more: a compressor on all inputs and the 16 tracks on the MTR. A very useful gift that "You Save" magrichon a bit multi-effects.

Let us talk about the multi-effects: two effects, it's just the bare ncessaire.

The console is a little dated (2002 to head), but the silent era really ultra complte. Today it lacks a USB port and the possibility of making 96Khz, but ...

UTILIZATION

Manuel super clear.
Configuration gnrale super simple (one branch, one road and roll youth).
If the "normal functions" are not accessible by IMMEDIATE multitude of buttons (which have got a good bit of light if we support it - has to avoid pressing buttons frntiquement that does not ragissent), one can CRER half a dozen shortcuts (like "shutdown", "save song", etc.).
The console is well thought, the functions s'enchanent naturally.
It can even plug in a mouse.
Only regret is not tilt the screen, it must therefore be placed high enough to see the console.

SOUNDS

Transparent converters, that's all they are asked! ;)
The gain is a bit feeble, but even if you record your catch live microphone on the console is that such a console is not for you! The other will offer a pramp 'of quality.
The dynamics are good trs.
The eq in between are great, they are relatively soft and can make corrections and fine prcises. Those who do not hear prtendent are confused qualiseur and ring modulator ... Or imagine Frohmage able to do from the console!
The dynamic between correctors are handy, a saving of time making the sound and make subtle corrections and / or longer supported at the time of the mix.

The multi-effects, uh bah ... is a multi-effects console, what! Use sparingly (at least) but the more if you really want to ring your project run to buy a box correctly.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days and I am fully satisfied!
I have more than fed up with the PC: overall, the time spent making music is widely infrieur time spent rebooting, rgler the sound card, wondering what plugin I missing, click anywhere, set up my keyboard shortcuts, etc ... In short, even apart from the fact that the PC crashes bcp MTR more than "hard" if you really want to make music is to focus ... the music!
Pay less than 1000 Euro-hand, I press "power on", I select my tracks and about 2 minutes 30 APRS m'tre lev my bed I can dj store - with quality.
At worst, I will take the master on my PC ADAT or S / PDIF to edit, but I'm not honntement l!
Excellent qualitprix used, and the machine is still supported (user forums animated, expansion cards still on sale (including the famous map of Waves excellent bill), use super simple possibility at last!, working on music with a focus on music and not drown in 50,000 menus, submenus, notches, sub-steps and crashes).
