For technical specifications have already been given and are found everywhere on the net, I will not dwell on it.

The violin is very very good for my taste, but one detail I did not understand: The nut is a kind of piece of painted wood, WTF? Not very serious, I will change occasionally. So I put 9 because of it.

Adjustment: What to do with the purchase, mine had a factory setting rather crude.

UTILIZATION

The handle? A wonder, at first I was gone on the Fender Geddy Lee, guitarist base is the handle end, accurate, fast and efficient seduced me.
And I came across the classic vibe, a real bomb. So no reason (as far as I am) to spend € 700 more.

The ergonomics are perfect, there is a real jazz bass, nothing to do with the ultra poor Affinity series or just very zero Vintage modified series (more expensive and more!).
Access to acute is easy, and the sound ... out as if by magic, it is really good, I play on an Ampeg BA115 United States, but tested in the store on an amp smaller bill, it also knocks.

SOUNDS

It is perfect for what I wanted to do, rock / funk mainly (RATM, RHCP, Incubus). This is again a real Jazz Bass, it thus enjoys a great versatile with a pick obtained quickly the metal is not for nothing that plays jazz bass BMTH eh.

I use it sometimes with a big muff bass sound to get very fat, it works very well too!
More powerful bridge pickup and the bridge more subdued, as in all the jazz bass.
I think replacing the pickups with EMG JVX (the active set), after that, I probably would not change more bass for the next 20 years.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month, day and night, I really put the bass through it, it takes a lot of fun petting the animal.

it starts to do some years I cheeks, I saw a parade of bass between my fingers is not the best coffee in the world, but there's nothing for € 370/400 better. Even compared to the Mexican Road Worn it is superior in quality / sound / violin.

I love the most versatility, comfort. The least? Uh ... At the edge of the black knobs, I put the chrome instead (matter of taste), and the nut low end, or nothing.

With experience, yes, I would advise anyone who likes the bass without having to put € 1,500 in their instrument.
