« the ball too !!!!! »
Published on 04/16/11 at 12:26I will not redetaillé, but it's very complete
use in the studio purchased at the same time as OctoPre Ausi mkII Focusrite Converto 8 Channel AD / DA and preamps.
my computer is not a monster just a dual core and 3GB of RAM 1TB hard disk with xp sp3 Cubase 5.1
UTILIZATION
Nickel drivers, install fastoche hop in 3 minutes, 2 to understand the routing of the mixer app
I reloaded a project containing 22 tracks with effects and VST automation of its rolls no blems
GETTING STARTED
everything ok!
OVERALL OPINION
before I had an echo layla 3g pci and it was very well I just change because it has a port and some adat not use it at the same time as the SPDIF so its limit too with the liquid entering the 56 I have 8 + 2 channels audio port and 1 spdif adat which combined with the adat OctoPre in the coup not need to mixing desk and my analog synthesizers adat returned to their respective port then in effect vst real time so cool!
I plugged directly and through over the OctoPre mk II a pc3 kurz spdif in a jd990 / a xv 5080 (adat to spdif port 2 so he thought they even had that!) / E-mu Ultra E4XT a GSP1101 (fx guitar), a more VoiceWorks tc, a Yamaha RM50, a former WAVESTATION a d-50 and a DX7 II FD of the coup by creating a model in my Cubase all know have their own synthesis and can go through their fx bus distilled by my uad-2 quadro and it's another world ..... until I found myself juggling with the config, with my tables galerais mix analog destroying my sound its the sound is very good on that it is better but 1066 euros at thomann with OctoPre mk II or 16 analog inputs and 2 ADAT port in two out the liquid preamps (very good on my acoustic electric guitar!) the hyper sound simple, I am happy and for once not frustrated by anything at all ......
