Published on 07/31/12 at 04:48Unlike its concurrent, compatibility issues with the apps are rare! No problem connecting with the PC if I start after this one! Relatively low latency and high quality preamp!
Compared with preamps (Tube yet) for the FireStudio Tube, those of the EMR are more "transparent" and equally effective.
UTILIZATION
The drivers are the most stable I've used so far! I started with a Hercules FW16/12 which was a little gadget, and with a FireStudio Tube, where there were straightforwardly no drivers (incompatibility with some software, and other irritating crash ...)
The management software is provided with rather ugly ... but still VERY effective and highly functional, no crash or bug unlike the other two already pre-quoted.
GETTING STARTED
Installation without hassle, no crash out of nowhere. The two cards I had before my ALWAYS been a problem at the facility, and then NOTHING! And yet, the card begins to have the age and I turn in windows7 64bit!
OVERALL OPINION
This will be a year soon and I am more than satisfied!
It costs a goodly quite expensive compared to competition, but the tranquility at a price. And finally, I do not regret my purchase and I highly recommend it to all those like me who have known the joys of unstable drivers and other problems incomprehensible, and tantrums in rehearsals!
