After the last Windows update the OS no longer recognized my interfaces. Yes, the drivers are current, yes I tried reinstalling them, and yes, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable. The only thing that worked was to back out the update, then everything was fine again. I have updates paused for as long as allowed (about a month), but Microsoft strong-arms the updates at you. You no longer have any control over whether to accept them or not. I live in dread that after April 30 my recording studio will be dead as a mackerel.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone have a resolution? Even a tentative one? (By the way, the computer is an HP i5 system with 16GB ram, 512SSD and two 2T hard drives.)
