Scarlett not picking up guitar in pro tools#1
Hey guys, I’ve recently tried to adapt with technology. It hasn’t been my friend but pushing through. Leaving the board recorders and going through pro tools. I have a Scarlett solo interface. I’m trying to record guitar through it into protools but I randomly get a signal. I’ve went to setup, the. I/O and I’ve changed the input and output to mono and the input I’m going through and I get nothing. I actually went through and tried every setting and still nothing. What’s weird is when I start a new project and select new track I get no signal, if I select new track again I will have signal on the second audio track. I can keep selecting new tracks from there and I won’t see any signal. It’s only in the 2nd track. I went through that track and tried to narrow down the settings but they are all the same, so I can’t figure out why that’s the only time I get a signal. If anyone has any idea what I may be doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it.
