I have an old school NAD Turntable.
I have a new school Yamaha amp without turntable inputs
I understand I need some sort of phono pre-amp to mconnect these

I also have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 available to me. Can anybody tell me whether I can use it to fulfill my pre-amp need?

Hi 4Skins,

Unfortunately this wouldn't be possible with the 2i4, you'll need to purchase a phono pre-amp.
