I have a mic and an electric guitar plugged in into a scarlett 6i6 2nd gen that is connected to my pc via USB. I tried recording in audacity and can only hear my voice in the left ear and guitar in the right ear.
If i set recording format to mono in windows, i can finally hear my voice in both ears but then i cannot hear the guitar at all.
How can i direct both my voice and guitar into one mono channel?
I read this tutorial: https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115000794545 but it didn't help.

First, It sounds like you are using/recording a stereo channel. Check your routing to ensure you are using 2 mono inputs in the Focusrite mixer.

Not sure if Audacity can do this, or if this will be a solution that works for what you need to do, but then:

- Set up 2 two mono channels each receiving one of the mono inputs.
- Reroute the output of both mono channels to a third mono channel and record or monitor that channel.
