Hi, I want to buy an used Scarlett Solo 2Gen, but the owner has already registered the product. He didn't download anything, but did create an account. So apparently I won't be able to use Pro Tools, First Focusrite Creative Pack, Ableton etc. What can I do in this situation? Is this software really necessary to record an electric guitar with Shure SM57 and get some good-sounding output?
