recommended specs for a new laptop

I'm kind of new to the Scarlett. Have been using Audacity but thinking of upgrading to something more sophisticated. Also thinking of updating my old laptop. It's a Lenovo ideapad 110, running Windows 10. It's about 8 years old, so I think I'm due.
What would the "experts" say would be specs for a better laptop, that would provide better performance?
What kind of processor? Amount of RAM, etc.

Any help, advice, pointers to resources, etc. appreciated.
