Ben everybody ..... adj parl is a PODxt pdalier format .... Otherwise, see the website line 6 o they tell you everything

UTILIZATION

Usage is trs simple.Mme not need to open the leaflet for the handling, the menus are well done, clear, there is too much (sometimes too little??) Of param tres, it's clear, concise and efficace.Le manual (I had one in French!! nananre) is as usual at line6 well done and the config rigolo.La p Dali is damn good and it's one foot on scne (!!!!) use. I would have some effects on AIM (the delays not to mention) a mode "advanced edit" a bit like the TC GForce order accder all custom settings in depth .... but it must me to print some rclamer a. ....

SOUND QUALITY

I'll just give my opinion on each section:
1) The amp simulations: Line6 has taken another leap forward on modlisations (I had a 2.0 until the pod is even more of dynamics, clarity is less breath .... bluffing. Mention specially for the plexi, the twin, and high gain amps.
2) the pedals (stomp): y 'has a lot of good distos the trs (screamer, tube driver) to passable (metal zone), compressors (too much ... but it's better than not enough), a booster EQ + trs super efficient and useful autowah a funny and effective, a ground swell for synth effects and funny but a little gadgets.
3) modulation: large trs in Stereo, the Chorus sine and square have my prfrence.Les flangers are effective, the phaser is 70's wish, ranging from the vintage style tremolo fender through a grinder throat, and autopan done a good job. on the other hand, except may be the sample & hold, I am not a fan of "gurgling machines" of the FX pack.
4) the delays: Well y'en full: analogs of (nice) of numriques (well but lack paramtres I got), the "gurgling" (bof. ..). Lack a delay with ducking.
5) The rverbes: Yen for all tastes too: the vintage spring (referred to the "lux"), plates
(Great for large rverbs 70's) and numriques (rooms, halls, rooms). For these dernires, a struggle not with the TC or Lexicon, but honnte (in any case really better than 2.0 on the pod!)
6) The wah: good. It's taf and trs is close to the vox. I would have to have AIM ACCS 2-3 DIFFERENT MODELS (cry baby, morley) is not because the vox forcment effective in all styles.
7) EQ semi paramtrique: not super efficient, and certainly not at the foot switchable, too bad.
8) compressor / gate: the compressor is easy rgler (threshold level) effective and foot switchable (switch if it sacrifices the "amp"). The gate is doing its job, but is almost useless with the Variax (magiiiique).

Severe lack of appeal: a pitch shifter .... Ms. basic mono ... trs same damage when there is a stockade of stuff little utiles.Peut be in- the next pack ......

OVERALL OPINION

I have a few days, with a Variax 700 reu. The couple Variax-Pod XTlive on scne (provided we can do without a HF) is REALLY awesome: Moving from acoustic DI, a layer of a twin and then on a les paul a front just by pressing a switch, it's magic. This is the top when you need often (and in my case) sounds completely Different. I have long hsit with the Vox ToneLab (which is also a great little machine that rings of hell), and compatibility is the Variax, and the possibility of routing that made me look for XTLive the pod. I also thought the Vetta II is a gas plant vritable (l I would have had my pitch shifter !!!), but for now, considering the price diffrence and to footprint, which is still the XTlive gagne.Certes, it has some default: no pitch shift (one I care !!!!!), MODEL wah, the possibility of routing Internal INTERESTED t forget that only one original expression pedals, switches the "Roland" that do not look ultra solid, not XLR. In good cons to entering the in minijack (for work in the hotel ...), running for the quality and quantity of MODELS amp and effects, and pdalier ergonomics.
In conclusion, has effectively replaced their baffles 36amplis + + 50aine one of the pedals and racks + + backliner to maintain the truck to transport the roadies for all + install: So even if we will ever "real "feel of the game on a real amp spits lamp watts, pdalier worth.

PS: Just a trick, I just tried my TriAxis upstream of the pod XTlive direct console: with preset "no amp", I could only use the simulation of a hp ...... Well kill .... May be a pod XT pro in my old rack .......
