It has 4 settings:-Level (for the noise level of the pedal)
Color-L (low setting)
H-Color (set high)
-Distortion (distosion rate setting)
Connection input / output jack 6, 35 and activation of the pedal through the footswitch. Socket for supplying the pedal 9V but it also works with a battery.
UTILIZATION
Very simple configuration
SOUND QUALITY
The sound is very distinctive. For those who know the band Dismember (Swedish Death Metal) is the pedal they used on the album "Death Metal" and I think they always use. This distortion has been widely used by the Sunlight Studio in suede which is quite a standard Swedish Death Metal.
But it also works well to rock.
The pedal has no medium and it means but it is the character of the beast.
When you push the treble and bass background, his turns. I personally love this color and pushing the volume is directly obtained more punch. However, it generates a little breath which is normal when you push distortion.
I use it only on my guitar.
OVERALL OPINION
This is one year that I have, it cost me a misery (33 euros) so I find it value for money very good.
I love the character of this pedal, distortion it provides. If you have the opportunity to try, it's worth cuts out.
I also have a Rocktron Metal Planet home and nothing to do with the boss HM2, the Metal Planet has a better definition with its parametric mid and sonic possibilities but I like again the color of the HM2.
Please note that the color of this pedal will not please everyone.
