UTILIZATION
Not need a tray 10 to use this effect, the manual is simple and concise and gives you some examples of setting type on the four knobs.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound is typically metal. Not necessarily death metal but still metal type at large.
It is a violent distortion ruins the uncompromising conccurents in my opinion. bourrine it well in the low and it screams the high notes and harmonics if desired. Not necessarily the most versatile pedal (or rather, one may well shape the sound but it's still metal) but it is specialized in what it does
OVERALL OPINION
I have this pedal for many years. I had other effects before (multi purpose) and I've tried other (Boss) and there has never been a slap as the DOD.
Coupled with my Laney it sounds of thunder.
Metal construction is impeccable and access to the battery handy.
Once possessed, you can not switch to another pedal for me (for making the metal)!
