- Originally, it was a great sound with the microphone serious trs trs blues and warm with less acute, a little too garish. In addition to older, he got weird feedback. But since I did change, everything is back to normal in much better!
SOUNDS
- Ideally suited for ballads, blues, rock and punk rock, a short guitar rock'n'roll. I doubt what is fit for the metal on the other hand
- I play a Fender Twin Reverb Silverface 1972 or 73 and with an amp like this, I use no effects other than a Tube Screamer for some solos.
- It excels in smoothness and ensures trs well in the violence.
- I like the diversity and personalis sometimes close to a Tele with a humbucker with a dry and sometimes closer to 335 for solos fat, that said, I have a great amp. In fact, I find it kind enough Rolling Stones 1968-1972 to make it simple. In the open floor, we believe it
OVERALL OPINION
- I have this MODEL Pearl White (1991) since 2002, but before I had a Sunburst (1989) bought in 1991.
- I love her look, she is really beautiful in white, for if the violin against aging well, it is not the same for spices mtalliques dtriorent that a lot with Over time, I think of the microphones and connectors. I had to change the mcaniques by Grovers and a micro acute Benedetti blues. The next step will certainly be a refrtage copmlet and a renewal of the wiring
- Yes, but I found its perfect form: the ultimate rock guitar Then it has a (small) more compared to Gibsons - besides the price - is its sound: I ' I train for four years in all ports of Gdansk Coruña and never let me down
- Trs good, if I had cot THE FIRST 500 euros with the fly in 1991, I bought the second for 150 euros OCCAZ of eleven years later, was worth m me with the changes made
- No problem, I dj it twice and I'm Fidler for 18 years, eight albums and I do not know how many concerts. INTERESTED what is, is that the violin is really good base, so we can make it evolve into an instrument of better quality by changing the parties mtalliques as and the gots of evolution and finance.See less60 - vertigopierPublished on 03/11/08 at 14:12 (This content has been automatically translated from French)J bought a model in maneuver philippe has offered a press trip to states

I use it for a few months.
I love this guitar! she is amazing with a few modifications and a little elbow grease it's become a guitar trs trs high quality.

- Hagstrom Viking and Viking deluxe, good finish but too CHRE microphones and quality similar to the Sheraton (the original ...) with a key in rsine trs bof (600euro) ...
- The Ibanez AS103 I think, but also trs bof good mics (very jazz)
- The gibson es 335 trs good! Unfortunately, trs CHRE also ... (Mahogany neck)
- The Sheraton II rplique the 335 but with handle Rabl (410euro on https://www.luckymusic.com/ ...)
Then a Sheraton II 410euro + mcaniques and a humbucker = 230euro 640euro a guitar that is incredible!
I do it again this choice a thousand times, but with the modification required! it is perfect for me is a quality guitar with good finishing trs potential standard ... I arrive with a classic 57 out crystal clear sound and extremely dark blues rtro (Sunshine of Your Love Cream of Clapton is on a 335 if you AIM sound is dark like a guitar for you!)See less60 - cc.torres

UTILIZATION
I find the handle comfortable rosewood fingerboard and Grover my satisfactory. The fret edges are smooth and insensitive to the fingers. Access to the last fret is correct but it is not my concern. The first months I fiddled endlessly the height of the bridge for the action as low as possible and then + it seems that everything has stabilized over time and with the habit of the game
The nut must be replaced because I find the E string too sharp edge very comfortably to ensure the hammer-on.
I started on electric guitar to retire after 15 year break and I play (or try) everything goes through my ears and the fingers (no hard metal).
The beast is a little cumbersome at first but it was a comfort and a better view of the key on my old acoustic dreadnough.
SOUNDS
Sounds obtained correspond to my expectations, beautiful, deep and powerful especially with two Gibson 57 Classic fai I get to the store to 220Eur and with Ernie Ball regular slinky 10/46, all plugged into a VOX AD30VT.
For the blues, it's excellent. For the rock "classic" super. The soft jazz does well by pushing a little knobs on the bass. I even country folk picking and I take (almost) to Chet Atkins.
OVERALL OPINION
Since I spend 12 months on average 2 hours per day. Not familiar electric guitar I bought for the look of a favorite and the recommendations of Internet users.
Now I'll crack a fine-tuning to a good luthier that I redo the bone nut and I will treat it as a Gibson ES335 to $ 3,500.
For another sound I have a beautiful strat aquérir Mex. Well, I think my beautiful Chinese Sheraton II guitar will remain my No. 1 for her, she can do anything.
In short, if I lose, I bought the same.See less70 - algamer

Good sound is easily obtained and can be personalized with three micro slecteur position (severe, serious mix-acute, acute) and the volume buttons and Tone (one each for each pickup). Prvoir but a change of pickups later but the original pickups are in my view sufficient for small concerts.

The color "natural" is very beautiful.
The pickguard is super ugly I think.
UTILIZATION
In use, the guitar is very nice. Nothing to say about the gameplay, though the guitar is set as good as another.
It can be a bit heavy and bulky in hand ...
I have not noticed it stung cons of the head.
SOUNDS
I'm having a problem ... I have no need for a hollowbody but I love their mouths Also, I bought a long time that I sell pretty quickly because there is no need ...
Sound level, I found it very correct, it touches on all styles available to him, the sweetest jazz to rock the most sustained ...
The Epiphone pickups are not so horrible that would have us believe ... That limit if I prefer not to 498T and 490 R of my Les Paul Studio (SH1 I expect to replace them).
My config 'is in the photo on my profile.
OVERALL OPINION
I did not keep it long, I had acquired OCCAZ ', and I sold at the same price (need money for another guitar).
I am pleased two or three months in all, free.
The value for money is excellent in fact.
I liked the overall look of the guitar despite Deco charged.
I liked the sound of the guitar although it is not too much to my musical tastes.
I even liked the mics ...
I did not like the varnish. I did not like the pickguard.
I find that to enter the world of hollowbodies is a choice that seems quite sure: all those considering buying a hollowbody not too expensive should try a Sheraton II. There's something for his money, obviously.
And if wrong, it sells well enough, because there is a demand (I sold mine in 24 hours). This is not negligible.
I do not regret it either, I found a beautiful white LTC Edwards LP 100 for the same price, much better suited to my tastes.
I put a good rating for the quality / price ratio.

The handle is quite "special" because rather broad and flat. You have to love! That said, it remains very comfortable and its relative width is that the strings are fairly well spaced. I who have "large" lumberjack fingers, I appreciate!
The general shape of the guitar made that access to treble is excellent (the neck joins the body at the 20th cargo ...).
That side, so no problem is the ideal guitar to make a blues solo ... ergonomics, however, I find her quite considerable weight (This is indeed the daughter of Mr. Gibson!) . Therefore provide a good soft and comfortable strap!
Side setting is simple: a microphone 3-position selector (neck pickup, bridge pickup + neck pickup and bridge), a volume and tone by microphone.
SOUNDS
For blues, rock, or jazz, the Sheraton II is perfectly suited. With varying degrees of distortion and reverb, it covers almost all of these styles.
The only negative on the microphones that are not up to the violin. The singularly serious lack of definition (it's a little mushy around the edges!) For the acute, it lacks punch ... settings (height of the microphones, mainly) do not change much. Now is the time
OVERALL OPINION
e conclude: The Sheraton II is a superb guitar. It is primarily for aesthetics that I bought and from this point of view, I do not regret! The copy is almost more beautiful than the original (the ES335).
Damage so that the microphones are so disappointing ... This leaves only one thing to do: change them and the Sheraton will vriament the sound it deserves!See less30 - swmcv2007Published on 01/22/09 at 09:04Mine is a Made in Korea 1994 Epiphone Sheraton II in the dark sunburst color. The frets are beautifully done. It's smooth and fast while still having the strings be a little bit wider apart. The binding on the neck is beautiful as well.
Did I mention the breathtaking leaf inlay on the headstock (that has binding)? It's a real beauty.
UTILIZATION
Like I said before, the neck is on the wider side but it's still very easy to play. It's actually more of a dream. With the double cutaways you have great access to the higher frets. It's also easy to play up there due to the wide frets. It's a little heavy but not as much as a Les Paul. The body feels nice and is has it's own unique characteristics to its shape. The reason I gave this guitar a 6 is because G string is really hard to stay in tune and the pots get some type of buildup and cause the sound the crackle in an out as you turn the knobs. With upgrades this guitar could be a perfect 10 (especially for the price) but as is there's a lot of problems and I don't feel confident bringing it to a gig.
SOUNDS
This guitar does sound pretty good. It is very loud and can distort a solid state amp on the clean channel. Through a tube amp this guitar sounds dirty unless you clean it up which is hard because of the problem with the knobs. I mainly use it to play Rolling Stones songs because it just sounds so good. It overdrives my Fender Blues Deluxe perfectly for overdriven 60's garage rock. I would like to change the pickups. I feel with 2 higher end Seymour Duncan's this guitar would sound better than a Gibson ES-335.
I gave it a 7 because while it sounds good, it really can't get too many different tones with these pickups.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had this guitar for about 5 years now and its a good guitar but it just needs a little work. I love how well the guitar is made but the hardware needs an upgrade. It's worth it though because you could get a used one for about 450 and put some really nice hardware in for a little less than you got the guitar for. I tried some other semi-hollowbody's for around the same price and none of them compared to the Sheraton II. Great value.
I gave this guitar an 8 because while it has some shortcomings, it's the best semi-hollowbody in its price range. It would be a great buy for an intermediate player who wants a better quality practice instrument. It is also a great buy for someone who wants a great semi-hollowbody that they can customize. I probably wouldn't get another one, but I am planning on upgrading this one soon, and I would really miss it if it were gone.See less00 - M ElisePublished on 12/07/08 at 20:52Mine looked exactly like the one in the above picture and was made sometime in the 90s I believe. This is a Gibson semi-hollow body 335 type. The guitar has a block of wood that runs inside it. I don't know where these are made but I doubt its the US because of the price/quality ratio. Epiphone still makes them as of 2008.

This is a very nice guitar. The build quality of the neck and body and paint quality seems exceptional for the price range. The guitar is really solid. The guitar is way more solid than the cheap Epiphone Dot which also purports to be a 335 wanna be. The bridges and pickups tend to loose their shiny plating over time. The pickups and electronics are of lower quality than the rest of the guitar. The guitar is easy to play and keep in tune etc. I don't know if any of the shortcomings have been improved in newer models or not.
SOUNDS
I was first attracted to this guitar because of its super duper deep phat sound. This is by far the biggest sounding 335 type guitar I have ever played (but I have never played a real Gibson 335). In fact its the biggest sounding guitar I've ever played with the exception of a true wide bodied jazz guitar with thick strings. Its weak link is the pickups which are passable but sound a little muddled and tinny to me. The buzz on this guitar is that if you buy it stock and replace the electronics and replace the pickups with quality ones like on a real 335 or similar you end up with an absolute monster guitar; the quality of which matches a Gibson 335 at a fraction of the cost.
OVERALL OPINION
This guitar is good stock but from what I've read has serious potential as a great instrument. I sold mine eventually before doing the for-mentioned mod because I simply had too many guitars and this one just didn't feel like me. But there is nothing wrong with this guitar. If you want a great Gibson 335 sound this is probably the way to get it without spending a fortune. And these guitars are easy to find used.See less20
