1 Can anybody help with my choice of new monitors?
I'm in the process of building a new computer system and would like to also upgrade my audio system (at the moment my audio set-up is not much more than a cheap set of Argos type speakers plugged straight into my PC, no external or internal sound-card, other than on-board sound), but I will be looking into a new sound-card or external Fire-wire interface such as a MBOX.

I will mainly use the chosen monitors for music production & general music playing, My taste of music ranges through all genres, from pumping DnB like Noisia & Spor to hard hitting Electronic beats but on the other hand I love Ambient music like Brian Eno & Rock music like Joe Satriani & Steve Vai.

These are my choices: (I don't want to spend over £600-Pair).

* KRK RP6 @ £350 (Pair) 0r RP8's @ £470 (Pair)
* Yamaha HS80M @ £390 (Pair)
* B&W 685 @ £370 (Pair)
* And at the top of my budget, ADAM A7's @ £585 (Pair)

Oh and in regards to sound-cards etc. I've picked these out: (Budget-£300)

* External:
* TC Electronic Konnekt 8 @ £211
* PreSonus Firebox @ £223
* Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 @ £240

* Internal (PCI)
* RME Hammerfall DSP 9632 @ £283
* E-MU 1616 PCI V2 @ £240

Any help would be much appreciated.

As for monitors, I would go with the AdAM A7s. and for the interface, you can't go wrong with either RME or TC electronic products.

Yamaha HS80M are also good for music production.
