OVERALL OPINION
I bought it almost 5 years ago. It was my first mic.
For what it's worth, it does its job, but the sound seriously lacks precision (in comparison to the neumann I use right now).
Make yourself no illusions, this mic is crap, but, in all fairness, you can't expect much from it for $40. If you are a beginner and don't know nothing about mics (like I did at the time), it's very good. Everybody else should look somewhere else.
