Jensen transformer.
A studio microphone that fits a lot of situations (Vocals, recovery of instruments).
No attenuation pad or low-cut (But it is no need with this mic).
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 1 month.
The first tests I did were on my voice, and I was surprised at the fidelity of the microphone.
all grades out well.
It gives a result airy and very transparent.
In a mix, the presence of voice is very good.
Tested on my singer's voice. Still very high fidelity. What is meant and what it takes!
The voice fits perfectly into the mix, and EQ are not corrective (as in low-end mics), but as aesthetic choices.
Third test taken on a remote electro-acoustic guitar. Placement should be more careful. Again, taken very faithful, and every nuance of the game are captured (attacks, glissandos, missed notes: D).
The proximity effect is not abrupt, nor disagreeable; making it easier to manage.
As mentioned above, no mitigation or pad low-cut is necessary. Everything is captured with precision, fidelity, and "natural".
This is a MUST HAVE!
And it's amazing to have such a quality for this price.
