- Cardioid condenser microphone for voice and instruments ployvalent
OVERALL OPINION
- Its now with very little sibilance
- I tried other microphones, such as: SE Electronics Z5600A / Neumann U87 (original), and U87Ai TLM103 and I would say the sound of the Mojave MA-201 is very nice / clean with a good return of frequencies and acute mild compared to the Z5600A and Neumann mentioned above, except the U87 (original) that does not sound like the Ai version.
Is taking place in the mix easily without the need for an EQ.
Coupled with a préamli lamp is ideal.
- Unbeatable value for money (bought € 700 with 2 year warranty), we find € 650.
Cheaper and better than a Neumann TLM103 and 3 times cheaper than U87Ai, it will displease the fans can be the U87 (Ai) but I prefer the Mojave MA-201.
In these comparisons only the U87 (original) is less sibilant and although this ... a better definition in the upper medium for the MA-201 but it is very light.
- I do it again without hesitation that choice (for a first micro seriously) in this price range, I have not found better.
