The Mighty Kick Drum Microphone: Part 1

Though there are other conventions, it is generally agreed that the kick drum goes into the first channel of the console, and for time immemorial, inordinate efforts have gone into tediously adjusting it.

In your article in pp. 2 under Legends, do you, indeed, mean the Sennheiser MD421, or the MD441 which you have pictured? Great article, btw, and thanks. If I used anything other than electronic drums and drum synthesizers in my studio, I'm sure it would be of great use to me.
