Published on 06/28/01 at 15:00I got it at the local music store, and fell in love with it as soon as I played it. I payed either 650 or 700 dollars.
It's the best guitar I've ever played, period. That oil finished neck is so fast and comfortable, it blows all the Ibanez's and ESP's away. The frets are big and feel great, and a three way selector makes it all simple. What more do you want?
The only thing that might be done to improve this instrument is adding a 2X locking Floyd instead of a down only. That's just me though.
It has a basswood body, which is a relatively soft wood. Carefull, it dents easier and the strap pegs will slip out eventually, but something like epoxy will put that problem to rest.
This is an incredible instrument. BUY IT.
