Value For Money : Excellent
8 in / out analog
2 in / out SPDIFMidi

(For the rest please visit M-Audio)

I have a console on which the vintage pre-amps are excellent, I wanted a card with inputs and outputs line ... (The console with 16in/16out + 4 bus I'll take a second one ...)

I toured with Samplitude 11 Pro and I wanted compatibility with ProTools for customers who want to absolutely work with it ... So M-Audio card.

(Note that I put here is related to what comes out now, the card is a bit old so I try to remain objective)

UTILIZATION

As I said earlier I use mainly with Samplitude 11 Pro, for now 10 track recording (1 card 10 entries), for reading I must be at over 40 tracks ... for the latency I get around
1 ms after mixing in, I go back for comfort ....

GETTING STARTED

Side installation is very simple pci card on one side connected to the rack on the other updated drivers from M-audio no surprises and no crash.

I regret just one thing no inter On / Off ...

OVERALL OPINION

I used it since March, I had a lot of cards on hands before (EMU 1820m, FireStudio Presonus, Tascam FW1884, Digidesign Digi 002 M-box and digital consoles ...) but I would repeat my purchase without hesitation because it is the one that is best for me to date, plus secondhand it is not very expensive, brand new I think there are cards that offer better value for money .....
