I chose this card for its input balanced / unbalanced XLR Jack 24/96 with 6.35 preamp and the reputation of the delta 66 stability. I installed on a P4 2Ghz DDR 512 Hard disk 60 GB and 40 GB Motherboard MSI 6567v2. the PC is ACPI with APIC mode. I on the PC modem scanner and a printer that runs well. the quality of the converter is perfect for me, with my acoustic guitar, I use a Schertler DYN G sensor with XLR connectors. I use a Boss DR670 drum machine and synth Korg X5D, electric guitars with effects pedals, an electric violin more SHURE microphones for voice. I work with headphones and I out on a classic HIFI. I mainly use Cubase SX and Wavlab 4.0.

UTILIZATION

Installation without problem, no conflict. I must say that I have prepared the PC for some time to receive an audio card with all the advice and forums, I avoided the pitfalls ... I installed it in 10 minutes, including driver. I downloaded the manual in French before buying the card. you still have time to get used to using the control panel of the card but it's related to my inexperience.

GETTING STARTED

I have no problem with drivers
I recorded 16 audio track with Cubase SX with effects in real time without any problems. I have not tried to record more tracks simultaneously.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it only for a month and I am delighted. I probably would supplement this opinion when I have more experience but for sure I would do this choice. the problem of headphones can be adjusted using a small Y-cable jack / jack double 6.35 to enter the two headphone inputs Phone 1 Phone 2.
